Rotary lobe blowers and vacuum pumps operate according to the proven Roots principle. Two rotating lobes are mounted in parallel inside the casing. These lobes operate in opposite directions. The rotation of the lobes traps the pumped medium, compresses it, and transports it to the next stage or to the outlet.
